Privacy notice

This notice explains how Talent Exxpert Limited ("we", "us") uses personal information collected through this website. We are the controller of that information. We are registered in England and Wales (company number 16439731) and our registered office is 107 Cleethorpe Road, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, DN31 3ER. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under reference ZC004670.

What we collect

• Employer enquiries: your name, work email, company, phone number (if given), the roles you're interested in and anything you write to us.
• Job applications: your name, email, mobile number, where you're based, the area you work in, years of experience, a link to your CV (if given), whether you have the equipment the role needs, and anything else you tell us.
• Call bookings: when you book a call, our booking provider (cal.com) collects your name, email, the time you choose and any notes, and shares them with us.
• Security information: to stop spam, we record a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address for up to an hour. We can't turn it back into your address.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss our services with you. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in responding to businesses that contact us, and taking steps you've asked for before entering into a contract.
• To consider you for roles with our UK clients. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in recruiting, and taking steps you've asked for before entering into a contract. If we'd like to share your details with a specific client, we'll tell you first.
• To keep the website secure and free of spam. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We use trusted providers to run the website and our business, who only process it on our instructions:

• Cloudflare (website hosting and security)
• Supabase (secure database, hosted in London)
• Resend (sending confirmation emails)
• cal.com (call booking, if you book a call)
• Microsoft 365 (our email)

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

• Employer enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless you become a client.
• Unsuccessful applications: up to 12 months, so we can consider you for other roles. Ask us and we'll delete it sooner.
• Spam-prevention records: up to 1 hour.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Contact us using the details above. We'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
